How to Install Galaxy S8 Weather Widget & Soft Keys on Galaxy Phones!

Today I am going to show you guys how to install Samsung Galaxy S8 Weather Widget(original not copy) and soft keys on Galaxy phones.

Requirements:

Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge – You will be able to install weather widget so long as you have Android 7.0 Nougat, no root required.  For soft keys, you WILL NEED a rooted Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge with Android 7.0 Nougat

Older phones like Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Note 5, etc… – You will need a custom S7 or S7 Edge ported ROM with Android 7.0 Nougat!  Most custom ROMs come with root and you must have option “qemu.hw.mainkeys” in your build.prop.

If you do not meet the requirements, please do not try to install, thank you!

Step 1. Download the Weather and Weather Widget APK files from APKQuick.com.

Step 2. Install the 2 APK files.  You may have to check “Unknown Sources” ON.

Step 3. Go into Settings->Applications.

Step 4. Clear data by going into Weather and Weather forecast apps, Storage->CLEAR DATA.

Step 5. If you have a ROOTED phone, you can install Build Prop Editor app from the Play Store and set “qemu.hw.mainkeys” value to “0”.

Step 6. Reboot and you should see you have Galaxy S8 weather widget and soft keys working!

To uninstall S8 Weather Widget, simply use the “Uninstall updates” for both Weather and Weather Forecast apps in Settings->Applications.

For removing soft keys, simply set “qemu.hw.mainkeys” back to “1” and reboot.
