Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM + Root for Nexus 4, 5, 7, and 10!

Android 5.0 Lollipop is finally here!  This is the “official” Lollipop released by Google and it is now available for all Nexus devices as a flashable ROM.

In general, Android 5.0 Lollipop”supercharges” your Nexus device, especially if you have an older Nexus device like the original Nexus 7 tablet or the Nexus 4 smartphone.  Major changes include new Material Design theme for the UI, new Material Design keyboard, super-fast UI, full multi-user support, and much cleaner overall OS.

Attaining root is easy, just install ROM and the latest version of SuperSU.  There are still some compatibility issues on some root apps but give it some time and app developers should have them all compatible with Android 5.0 eventually.

Is it usable as daily driver?  Yes, you won’t be disappointed as this is the final version not a preview like last time.  You can expect much better performance, battery life, and new features.

If you have a Nexus device and you haven’t tried the official Android 5.0 Lollipop, knock yourself out this week(end) and enjoy the latest software advances in Android today with root!

Here’s Android 5.0 Lollipop ROMs for Nexus 4, 5, 7, and 10! (I should have 5.0 ROMs posted for Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus soon over at NexusSHacks.com and GalaxyNexusRoot.com!)
