Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro Unboxing!

I recently came across an Android tablet that has a built-in projector.  I was actually looking to buy a projector but then found the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, which is the world’s first Android tablet with a built-in projector.

The more I thought about having a tablet with built-in projector, the more it made sense.  With a standalone projector, you would still need to hook it up to another Android device to actually project something.  With the Lenovo tablet, you can instantly project anything that’s already on your screen such as Netflix, Crunchroll, HuluPlus, etc…etc…

If you don’t have an extra TV in your bedroom, perhaps like to go camping, or simply want another screen that will not take up much space, Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro may just fit the bill.

The Lenovo Yoya Tablet 2 Pro comes with an Intel Atom Z3745 processor clocked at 1.33Ghz with 2 gigs of DDR3 RAM and a 13.3″ screen with resolution of 2560×1440.  As far as the processor goes, it’s not the fastest in the world right now but it’s definitely fast enough to keep up with latest processors. (I would say somewhat similar to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor on the Galaxy S5 based on its Antutu benchmarks)

The 13.3-inch screen is very big, this is the biggest Android tablet I’ve bought so far.  Couple that with a 1440P screen and it’s actually a perfect combo as you get big enough resolution on big screen without draining the battery much.  (On the other hand, I feel 2K screen on my Note 4 is overkill for the sacrifice in battery life.)

As for storage, you will find 32 gigs of internal storage along with a microSD card slot to expand up to 128GB if you wanted.  And there’s some cool features like built-in, adjustable stand and a really nice real-camera with F-stop of 2.2.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase, I will definitely play with it more but for now, if you want something that has a big screen, fair amount of processing power, and a built-in screen, you can’t go wrong with Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro.
