Galaxy Note 7 Software HANDS ON! [IRIS scanner CONFIRMED]

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 7 official announcement is just 2 days away, we were able to try out all of the new software features of Note 7 using a ported ROM for our Galaxy S6.

Now, this is an actual “port” meaning what you see here is identical to what you will see in a real Galaxy Note 7.  For this, we install the Note 7 Port ROM called Noble ROM on our rooted Galaxy S6.  (You can also get Note 7 Port ROM for Galaxy Note 5 or Note 7 Port ROM for Galaxy S5.)

Huawei P9 Unboxing! [Amazing Leica Technology]

I am always in search of the best smartphone with the best camera as this is something that I am really looking for.  Well, the Huawei P9 just came out not too long ago and I have finally been able to try out its new Leica camera technology.

The Huawei P9 uses two cameras, one RGB and the other monochrome and fuses two photos (supposedly) to give you a more detailed photo.  On top of this, you get a special mode that allows you to change aperture while taking the photo to give you extra shallow depth of field like a DSLR camera.

[DO NOT BUY REVIEW] Tempered Glass for Galaxy S7 Edge, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+!

In my recent unboxing video of a $20 tempered glass on my Galaxy S7 Edge, I learned a few things about them and why you should not use them unless you absolutely can live with its flaws.

Now, this tempered glass is branded as many different tempered glass online Peyou, GPEL, iCarez, etc…etc… They are all basically made by the same company and you need to know that all of them have these flaws.

LG G5 Review! – Top 8 Reasons to Buy LG G5!

For those of you who are thinking about getting the LG G5, here’s the top 8reasons why you should buy LG G5.

First and foremost, if you want to have two back cameras, one primary and other super wide-angle, the LG G5 is definitely the way to go as it offers you a wide-angle camera usually found on much bigger DSLRs/mirrorless cameras.  The primary camera on LG G5 already keeps up with cameras on other flagships like the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge and by having additional wide-angle camera, you will be able to take photos otherwise not possible (such as taking a wide-angle shot from the top of Great Wall in China).

LG G5 Camera 4K Cinematic Test!

It’s always fun to make some 4K cinematic videos with new smartphones and today I decided to make one in Thailand since the scene is so different.  What I realized by making this video with the LG G5 is that there are some wide-angle shots you can really get creative with.

As I was making this video, I was able to instantly switch between the regular camera and the wide-angle instantly, which is a plus since you can get two angles in one shot.  Of course, I think Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are still a tad better but if you include the fact LG G5 has wide-angle, this may be the most fun camera to shoot with.

Nexus 6P KILLS Galaxy S7 Edge in Camera Dynamic Range Test!

In my last camera low-light shootout, the Nexus 6P came out on top of all 2016 flagship smartphones like the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge and HTC 10 and I wanted to find out exactly what’s going on.  Was it the big sensor size?  Perhaps good camera software?  Or was it simply because better HDR mode?  In order to satisfy my thirst to find out why Nexus 6P outperformed new phones, I did a dynamic range test.

What is dynamic range?

S7 Edge vs. Nexus 6P vs HTC 10 Low-Light Camera Shootout!

In this low-light camera shootout, we took on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge vs. Nexus 6P vs. HTC 10 at the local street market in Thailand.

Apparently, the HTC 10 still has the same focusing problems in low light we noticed in our last camera test.  The Nexus 6P came out as surprising winner in low-light being able to capture higher dynamic range keeping the highlights from blowing out, which happened almost on every photo for the Galaxy S7 Edge and HTC 10.  However, we did notice that the Galaxy S7 Edge and HTC 10 did a lot better when a subject was involved while the Nexus 6P kept focusing on the background.

S7 Edge vs. LG G5 vs. HTC 10 Extreme Low Light Camera Test!

In this extreme low light camera test, we take on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge vs. LG G5 vs. HTC 10 taking it around the busy night streets in Nimmanhaemin district of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

What we learned from this camera test is that all of these smartphones do pretty well in extreme low light and the differences are very minor.  In low light, the HTC 10 seems to have focusing problems as we had hard time focusing in many of these shots.  Because of that, many of the shots from HTC 10 came out out of focus while its camera is plenty capable.

OnePlus 3 – Top 5 Reasons to Buy! [MUST WATCH BEFORE BUYING]

For those of you who are wondering whether to buy the OnePlus 3, here’s our Top 5 reasons for buying OnePlus 3.

#1 – If you absolutely cannot afford more than $400 for a smartphone, the OnePlus 3 may be the best Android smartphone you can buy under $400.   You can grab a Galaxy S7 on eBay for about $550 when it’s on sale (check often) but if $400 is absolute budget for you, OnePlus 3 is the way to go.
