LG G3 and Galaxy S5 Drop Test!

One of the easiest things you can do with a smartphone is that you can drop it and break your LCD screen.

Even with latest improvements in glass technology like Gorilla Glass 3, it’s not going to protect you when you drop your phone on concrete ground.

However, Gorilla Glass does very well indoors such as hardwood floor, you probably don’t need a case if your house or office has hardwood floor or carpet.

Nexus 5 DROP TEST with a CruzerLite Case!

It seems to me pretty obvious that the Nexus 5 screen will crack if you drop it without a case.  So to prove the point, I did a drop test of my brand, new Nexus 5 with a CruzerLite case, which I have been using for many of my other Android devices and it protects your phone well, especially the screen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Drop Test!

Well, I decided to do a drop test with my brand, new Galaxy Note 3, since I had to break the screen anyways to do a future screen replacement video.

It turns out that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 actually is pretty durable as the screen lived though a pocket drop, 5’9″ drop from the head, and even completely face-down drop from 5’9″.  In the end, I did a near 7-foot drop, which was probably inevitable to expect not to break.

Galaxy S4 DROP TEST with a Case!

You all probably seen many Galaxy S4 drop tests on YouTube and while they entertain you with completely broken screens, they do not show you anything. I know all of these guys are doing drop tests do generate millions of views but seriously does that show you ANYTHING?

If you drop any of latest smartphones without a case on cement ground enough times, it’s going to break the screen eventually.
