For those of you who live in the U.S., did you know it’s illegal in over 50% of the States to have a suction cup phone mount on the windshield of your car? (See my article here for list of illegal States). Cops will probably not pull you over but if they wanted to find a reason, this could be one reason to pull you over. If you like to carry illegal stuff in your car (not that I recommend it), pay attention, I may save you from going to jail. Besides that, having a suction phone mount on your windshield does get in the way of your view.
Yes! I’ve been waiting for LG G3 for quite awhile now since last year even before LG announced it and finally it arrived!
Google has released their latest Pixel 5 Android smartphone, a 6-inch 2340×1080 resolution OLED display with 90Hz of refresh rate. The Pixel 5 features Snapdragon 765G processor, 128GB of internal storage with UFS 2.1, 8 gigs of RAM, 12.2MP main camera, 16MP super-wide angle camera, rear fingerprint sensor, and 4080mAh battery with support for fast charging at 18 watts with USB PD 2.0, and ships with latest Android 11. While the Pixel 5 has excellent long battery life and one of the best photo capabilities on a smartphone today, is it right for you? Well, I honestly believe there’s a right phone for every single one of you out there and this could be it or it might not be, let’s find out!
After 4 days of quarantine, I was finally able to get Android 11 GSI working fully on my Samsung Galaxy S9. Here’s a quick review of Android 11 running on my Galaxy S9, it runs nearly flawless. Calls work great, 4G LTE signal/WiFi works great, bluetooth works great, brightness works great, stereo speakers work good. The only problem I am currently having is trying to replace the Phhusson’s Android 11 GSI Superuser with Magisk but I am building his GSI from sources and should have one that’s compatible with Magisk soon.
OnePlus 8 Pro has a Snapgragon 865 processor, 6.78-inch Quad-HD 1440P 120Hz AMOLED curved display, 8GB of RAM for 128GB storage model or 12GB of RAM for 256GB model,3 back cameras and one front camera.
The Google Pixel 4a is the biggest smartphone in the smallest form factor, yes almost like the city of Reno, I do have some interesting fear and loathing in Reno past experiences with my college friends but we will talk about that in another time. Pixel 4a features an OLED 5.67 inch screen with 2340×1080 pixels and 3140mAh battery. For performance, Pixel 4a packs a Snapdraon 730G, its raw performance somewhere between a Snapdragon 835 and 845 based on it benchmarks. This is rather similar to somewhere between Galaxy S8 & S9 performance on paper. But don’t let that fool you, the highly-optimized Pixel 4a from Google, maker of Android operating system runs rather faster, and it feels faster than most of other flagships on the market today including my own Galaxy S20 Ultra and OnePlus 8 Pro. I was actually rather amazed how flawless everything ran with no lag.
Here’s how to root your OnePlus 8 or OnePlus 8 Pro or any other OnePlus device on latest Android 10! The method is exactly same for OnePlus 7T, 6T, 6, etc… you just use a different firmware file.
