Thanks for everyone to who voted for me yesterday, I did win the election, I am now the President of HighOnAndroid community for the next 4 years. Thank you thank you.
For those of you who didn’t know, there are apps that can help you easily hide your photos, videos, and apps. One of them I use fairly often is called the “Hide It Pro” app, allows you to discretely hide your private photos, videos, and apps easily.
For those of you wondering what is the best smartphone of the year 2012, it’s without a doubt the Galaxy Note 2.
Here’s how to install Flash Player on “any” Android smartphone or tablet device running ICS or Jelly Bean.
Here’s a round-up of Android news and tablet news of the week.
First, Windows Surface tablets are coming out soon, they look not bad at all.
After months of wait, Galaxy Note 2 has finally arrived! Of course, U.S. variants will also be here soon in November but in the meanwhile, I got my hands on one of the international GT-N7100 models.
Best Android smartphone of the year 2012?
LG Optimus G was just announced earlier this week with a Qualcomm S4 Pro Quad-core 1.5Ghz processor, 8.45mm thick, 2100mAh battery, and 13-megapixel camera. Too bad LG is rarely seen on U.S. carriers much and I doubt they will make it to more than one U.S. carrier. This could be a great phone but LG still needs to step up in the areas of customer support, marketing, etc…etc… I will not buy an LG phone until they make their international support centers better.
Here’s some highlights about the iPhone 5!
iPhone 5 comes with 4-inch 1136×640 pixel screen! Revolutionary!
Galaxy Note 10.1 is here folks! I think this is the best tablet on the market right now specifically for entrepreneurs, students, and kids. It’s the tablet I have been dreaming about for the last 12 months or so since I’ve heard rumors about it.
I just received my new Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 not in the mail (as I missed pickup) but at the San Francisco FedEx office. Well, I didn’t expect the new Galaxy Note 10.1 to comes with broadband/phone capabilities, but it does! That alone makes it better than any other tablet on the market.
Although I didn’t go to Google IO this year (I probably never will as I don’t like going to shows anymore), I had the chance to “de-virginize” a brand, spanking new Nexus 7 Android tablet on the day it was released thanks to CruzerLite CEO Joel, who allowed me to do the unboxing. (Thanks a ton Joel!)
It still amazes me how many people think iPhone 4S “still” has better photos and videos than newer Android smartphones. Well, here’s something to get you out of denial, just accept the truth, something made in 2011 is NOT going to be anywhere near as good as Galaxy S3.
Here’s benchmarking test between the Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 with Exynos 1.4Ghz Quad-core processor vs. Galaxy S3 T999 Qualcomm S4 1.5Ghz Dual-core processor.
Well, I did get my hands on finally on a U.S. Galaxy S3 model, all of them which are identical to each other as far as main hardware specs go. Here’s unboxing of T-Mobile Galaxy S3 SGH-T999.
