AT&T Galaxy S2 Root, Overclock, and ROMs!

It’s only been nearly a week since I’ve picked up a brand, new AT&T version of Galaxy S2 but I was able to get a lot of things groovin’ such as root, overclocking, and already installed several custom ROMs.  They work flawlessly on the AT&T version so there’s nothing holding you back from getting the best of what open source has to offer.

AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint Galaxy S2 4G Speed Test!

Some of you may wonder which 4G runs the fastest on the Galaxy S2.  Well, since I’ve got all three Galaxy S2s here, I did a quick test in my backyard.

First of all, Sprint uses WiMax technology for its 4G service, which is theory can do up to 75Mbps download speeds.  In the meanwhile, T-Mobile and AT&T both use HSPA+, which isn’t really 4G but it is faster than 3G.

T-Mobile is theoretically rated up to 42Mbps download speeds while AT&T is rated for up to 21Mbps download speeds.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus!

Although there was no official announcement for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, it seems that there’s already Verizon Galaxy Nexus being used in the shooting of Android 4.0 launch.

In these photos, you can clearly see Verizon’s 4G LTE logo engraved on the back of this Galaxy Nexus.  Which just all means that November 10th launch date might not become just a fairy tale, you can bet on it!

AT&T Galaxy S2 Review!

AT&T’s Galaxy S2 Android smartphone is nearly identical to the “first” international version, which I tried months ago when it first came out except the edges are bit more polished and there are four capacitative menu buttons at the bottom instead of just three.

Best Display on Market – AMOLED 4.3″ Screen
