In our last Pokemon Go Hack, we showed you how to play the game with a joystick but it required an Android device running on Android 6.0/6.0.1 Marshmallow. A lot of you were requesting a non-root method to play the game with a joystick on older Android devices. Well, we found another great solution that works on all Android versions including Android Marshmallow, Lollipop, KitKat, and even Jelly Bean! UPDATE: This hack also works on latest v0.33.0 and v0.35.0! For v0.35.0, you just need to keep using the modded v0.33.0 instead of updating!
Xposed Installer is an essential app required to run various different Xposed Modules/Apps to add extra functionality to your Android device such as enabling tablet mode using Xposed App Settings, cloaking root through Root Cloak, or cheat in Pokemon Go using Pokemon Go Hack. In fact, some of you use it so much that you even refuse to upgrade to Lollipop. Xposed Installer has actually been available for awhile now and they actually work for most Android devices on Lolllipop including Android 5.0, 5.0.1, 5.0.2, 5.1, and 5.1.1.
CyanogenMod Team has announced official CM12.1 nightlies, which are the latest CM12.1 ROM based on the latest Android 5.1.1 (not Android 5.1) Lollipop. I’ve flashed these official and unofficial CM12.1 ROMs on many of my Android smartphones and boy, these are definitely the best CyanogenMod ROMs I’ve seen so far.
For those of you with latest Android 5.0, 5.0.1, 5.0.2, or 5.1 Lollipop OS, here’s how to install Adobe Flash Player to view legacy Flash Player-enabled websites. You will need to use a Flash Player-compatible browser like Dolphin browser (which I highly recommend btw). This will allow you to enjoy all your flash content even on Lollipop. And yes, if you have a newer device like the Nexus 6 or Note 4 with latest Qualcomm 805 processor or higher, flash runs really fast.
For those of you installing Android 5.0 Lollipop custom ROMs, you may need to install Gapps separately in order to get Google apps like Google Play Store, GMail, etc…etc…
To install Gapps, simply reboot into CWM or TWRP recovery and install using the “install from sdcard” or “install” option, just like installing a new ROM. Do not wipe, simply install over your current ROM if it’s missing Play Store.
For those of you who have a Nexus 5, you probably are already trying out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM.
Lollipop should be coming to all other Androids soon but in the meanwhile you can still enjoy the Android 5.0 Lollipop keyboard “today” on any Android smartphone or tablet. And no, root is not required.
