First, LG V20 is a 5.7-inch phablet smartphone with 1440P IPS LCD w/ secondary screen, 2 back cameras (One F1.8 16MP and One 8MP F2.4 wide-angle), 1 front wide-angle camera (that also crops in), Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, removable back cover (made from aircraft-grade aluminum), 3200mAh removable battery, IR blaster, micro-SD card slot, and an active noise-cancellation microphone.  LG V20 also comes with a quad-DAC with a more powerful amplifier that’s capable of powering headphones (that usually require amps).

Pixel XL vs Pixel vs Nexus 6P vs S7 Edge Screen-On-Time Battery Test!

In our latest HighOnAndroid SOT Test, we take up Google’s latest Pixel XL and Pixel versus last year’s Nexus 6P and also the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The results are very interesting as the Pixel XL and Pixel prove themselves as one of the best in having longest battery, just behind the Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7, current kings of HighOnAndroid SOT tests.

Pixel XL vs S7 Edge vs Nexus 6P 4K Camera Video Stabilization Comparison!

Here’s a quick 4K camera video stabilization comparison between the new Google Pixel XL vs. Galaxy S7 Edge vs. Nexus 6P.

I am actually impressed at how well the Gyro EIS on Pixel XL did, WOW.  Although Pixel XL had some stutter issues when moving the phone in an aggressive way, overall the Pixel XL had much better stabilization than the Galaxy S7 Edge, which I feel like “was” the king of 4K video stabilization.

Nexus 6P KILLS Galaxy S7 Edge in Camera Dynamic Range Test!

In my last camera low-light shootout, the Nexus 6P came out on top of all 2016 flagship smartphones like the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge and HTC 10 and I wanted to find out exactly what’s going on.  Was it the big sensor size?  Perhaps good camera software?  Or was it simply because better HDR mode?  In order to satisfy my thirst to find out why Nexus 6P outperformed new phones, I did a dynamic range test.

What is dynamic range?

S7 Edge vs. Nexus 6P vs HTC 10 Low-Light Camera Shootout!

In this low-light camera shootout, we took on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge vs. Nexus 6P vs. HTC 10 at the local street market in Thailand.

Apparently, the HTC 10 still has the same focusing problems in low light we noticed in our last camera test.  The Nexus 6P came out as surprising winner in low-light being able to capture higher dynamic range keeping the highlights from blowing out, which happened almost on every photo for the Galaxy S7 Edge and HTC 10.  However, we did notice that the Galaxy S7 Edge and HTC 10 did a lot better when a subject was involved while the Nexus 6P kept focusing on the background.

Google Daydream VR Demo & How to Install On Android N!

Google has announced Daydream VR coming to next Android N a few weeks back and it should be coming soon to everyone but if you want to check out the beta Daydream VR demo, you can do it if you have a Nexus device with Android N.

Now, currently the only app it has is a beta painting app that is a watered-down version of Google Tilt Brush but with this app you can experience Daydream VR along with a 3D controller (using a 2nd phone as emulating controller).
