For those of you having hard time organizing your apps efficiently or simply have hundreds of apps installed, here’s a great way to organize your apps using Atom Launcher.

A new player to the launcher market, Atom launcher brings one of the most innovative folder organization I’ve seen on a launcher yet with extra long folder that allow you to scroll through your apps in your folder on your home screen (see video for demo).

The Atom launcher allow you to put up to 16 apps per folder and resize your folder as long as you want all the way across the screen.

Not only that, with Atom launcher, you will have the ability to even make folders in your app drawer.  For those of you with many apps, this simply folder capability can go long ways to helping your smartphone life become more efficient.

Step 1. So, let’s do this.  First, drag your two favorite apps to make a folder.

Step 2. Click on the folder then hit the “+” button to add your favorite apps.

Step 3. When done adding your favorite apps, you can also resize the folder by doing a long-press.  Now repeat Steps 1 through 3 to organize all your apps.

Step 4. If you want to make folders in your app drawer, simply open up your app drawer and hit the pencil icon.  You can now hold and drag your favorite apps into a folder.

Step 5. You can also click on your favorite apps then hit the “Folder” button to make a folder easily when your apps are spread across your app drawer.

Other than the folder feature, the Atom launcher brings you additional notification bar at the top of your screen with battery percentage, date, and time.

If you go into Atom launcher settings, you will be able to set additional settings like Grid setting.

Best of all, you can get a bunch of themes for the Atom launcher by using Atom Store and also Go Launcher themes are 100% compatible with Atom launcher.

Overall, Atom launcher’s brings new folder features that makes more sense for organizing your apps over other launcher out on the market.  If this is something you are looking for, definitely give it a try this weekend and let me know what you think!
