Galaxy Note 4 UNBOXING!

galaxynote4-unboxing

Yes!   I just got my brand, new Galaxy Note 4 and I have to say, this is the best Note series Samsung has made.  The new Note 4 comes with a slew of features along with the Snapdragon 805 processor and Quad-HD screen, all of it working smoothly along with some extra features with the S-Pen.

My first impressions?

The Note 4 certainly has a better screen than the LG G3.  Although I still think quad-HD on a screen is overkill, for Note 4 it may fit the bill since it has a much larger screen size than the G3.

Nexus 6 is also right around the corner but I don’t think it will beat the Note 4 in terms of features and of course the S-Pen.  If you absolutely do not need to use the S-Pen though, there are plenty of great alternatives including the OnePlus One.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Note 4’s new metal bezels, which really give you that solid feel when you hold the phone in your hands.  Other than that, Note 4 is a super-charged version of Note 3.  For Note 3 owners, you may be able to get many of the new Note 4 features through custom ROMs other than new heart rate, UV, and oxygen sensors.   I should have a full review soon.  In the meanwhile, enjoy the unboxing!

    Hi Max,

Can you give me your opinion? Which one should I get? Note 4 with Exynos or Snapdragon?
Exynos seems to outperform Snapdragon (even with the GPUs) but dev support usually only comes to Snapdragon. Do you think dev support will come to the Exynos this time?

    Thanks!

I am a dedicated Note fan! However, I love the interface and size of the Nokia Lumia 1520. What are your thoughts…should I upgrade my Note 3 to the 4 or try out the Lumia 1520.

I want the Gear S….but they (At&t) will not add to my (old school) unlimited data plan…making me jump through hoops! It doesn’t even have a browser….are there any roots available yet… and is it worth it? I still have my 1st generation Gear. Give me your complete thoughts.

P.S. Put me in the contest for the free Note
