The Pixel 3 smartphone is Google’s latest flagship that comes with latest Snapdragon 845 processor, a 5.5-inch POLED display with resolution of 1080×2160 or 1080P with 18:9 aspect ratio with 443 PPI pixel density, 4 gigs of RAM, storage space of 64 or 128GB, 2915mAh battery, IP68 water-resistant rating, and fast wireless charging. Camera is improved over last year by an added wide-angle front camera that allows you to take super wide-angle selfies along with wider videos. Main camera is a 12MP shooter with 1.4 micron sensor, OIS(Optical Image Stabilization), and dual pixel auto focus.
Pixel 3 Camera APK w/ Night Sight for OnePlus 6T or OnePlus 6 is now available. I also did a comparison of using Night Sight on a Pixel 3 versus Night Sight on OnePlus 6T. The new Pixel 3 camera’s Night Sight feature can improve your low-light photography by a TON, making the darker areas of your photos much brighter by taking up to 15 different photos with various levels of exposure levels then stitching them to give you photos otherwise impossible.
Does OnePlus 6T work on Verizon & T-Mobile 4G LTE simultaneously? When OnePlus 6T was announced with full support for T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network along with support for Verizon, I was really interested if the OnePlus 6T can work on both Verizon & T-Mobile 4G LTE simultaneously. This is because I have unlimited plan on both T-Mobile & Verizon and I don’t like carrying two phones. Whenever I drop to dead spots with T-Mobile here in SF Bay Area(which happens quite often), I would switch to my other smartphone with Verizon SIM card. With the OnePlus 6T, this is going to allow me to carry around just one smartphone and use both networks.
Convert your OnePlus 6 into a full-fledge Pixel 3 with the Pixel Experience ROM along with Pixel 3 Camera. Thanks to the Pixel Experience Team, now you can get pretty much all of the Pixel 3 features right on your OnePlus 6.
Pixel 3 ROM for Xiaomi Mi 8 by XDA user ArGraur is HERE to give you FULL conversion from a real Pixel 3 firmware. While I have installed countless custom ROMs on various different Android smartphones, this one certainly is special because it allows you to fully enjoy Pixel 3 features on a phone that costs less than half as much($420 Xiaomi Mi 8 vs. $899 Pixel 3 XL). Now, while not EVERYTHING works but almost everything works on the Pixel 3 ROM for the Xiaomi Mi 8.
LineageOS 16 ROM for Xiaomi Mi8 is probably the first custom ROM you want to try on your Mi8, especially if you want to run something more closer to stock Android like Pixel 3 with latest Android 9.0 Pie. Although MIUI isn’t bad, personally I am more used to stock Android experience and I really hate the iPhone-like MIUI launcher. Also, menus are way different on MIUI and I wanted to run a software that I am more used to.
This is a tutorial on how to install Android 9.0 Pie ROM such as the LineageOS 16 ROM, Pixel 3 ROM, or Pixel Experience ROM on your Xiaomi Mi8. There are several guides floating on the internet but none of them work 100% of the time so I had to figure out exactly how to install Android 9.0 Pie ROMs on my Mi8 and here’s the process I came up with that works everytime so you don’t have to spend 2 days like I did trying to install a ROM and end up in a bootloop. The Xiaomi Mi8 is slightly complicated beast compared to other Android phones and even as an Android expert, it took me a quite awhile to figure this out so follow the tutorial if you want to save yourself some headache and most importantly spend more time with your family. Doing it right will only take you 10-20 minutes.
For those of you who want to convert your Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, or Galaxy S9+ into a Google Pixel 3, you can now do it by installing the Pixel Experience ROM. Now, you WILL need an Exynos model, if you have any Snapdragon models(U.S. models like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, or Verizon), you won’t be able to install this ROM as they have locked bootloaders.(For future reference, please don’t buy Snapdragon models if you want cool mods like this.)
