With latest Pokemon Go update version 0.37.0, you will not be able to play the game with a rooted Android device.
Pokemon Go was just updated today to latest version 0.37.0. The biggest update comes with Buddy Pokemon, trainers can now choose any of their Pokemons to be their buddy. I’ve been watching Pokemon with my daughter and it’s great to see that now I can have a real buddy like the real show.
Pokemon Go Cheat/Hack for Android – How to Play Game without Leaving House! [Works on v0.35.0][UPDATE]
When Pokemon Go app was launched, I was really excited to play the game until I found out I can’t get any new Pokemons due to the fact that the game’s support in Thailand is nearly non-existent. I am staying here in rural part of Chiang Mai, Thailand and found zero Pokemons over the course of few days. Also I traveled to Bangkok for 10 days and found zero. This is a really frustrating game for those of you who live outside Pokemon’s release countries such as South Korea where the game only works in rural city near Japan called Sokcho.
In our last Pokemon Go Hack, we showed you how to play the game with a joystick but it required an Android device running on Android 6.0/6.0.1 Marshmallow. A lot of you were requesting a non-root method to play the game with a joystick on older Android devices. Well, we found another great solution that works on all Android versions including Android Marshmallow, Lollipop, KitKat, and even Jelly Bean! UPDATE: This hack also works on latest v0.33.0 and v0.35.0! For v0.35.0, you just need to keep using the modded v0.33.0 instead of updating!
For those of you who must play Pokemon Go on the go but don’t want to waste the battery of your smartphone by having the app on all the time or don’t want to run the app unless there are actually Pokemons to catch, you may want to consider running the PokeDetector app, which runs in the background and only notifies you via vibration/sound/Android Wear watch when Pokemons are nearby.
HTC is working on a new HTC Home Sense launcher that will work on any Android device. It should be available shortly on the Play Store but if you don’t want to wait, you can grab the beta version APK file and install it yourself.
For those of you who want to experience Android N keyboard, now you can install on any Android device using the Android N Keyboard APK file.
Let me go into what’s on my phone this week and talk about some of the apps I am using this week. This week, I have both the Android Wear and Samsung Gear apps installed for my LG Urbane watch and Gear S watch. Android Wear app doesn’t let you pair more than one watch at a time but if you have an Android Wear watch and Samsung watch, you will be able to use two watches simultaneously. I find this part kinda odd, I wish Android Wear allows you to pair multiple watches and I am sure those of you super high on Android would like to wear different watches for different outfits.
When I first got the Amazon Echo, it was a pretty cool device that you could talk to when you are bored but there were limits to the device as I was used to doing complex things with my Google Now already. Of course, I also find playing music rather convenient, especially when I am doing dishes, I can turn on music without bothering to dry my hands, I really like that. But at the price of near $200, is this gadget worth it?
If you want to make a high quality 4K timelapse on your Android smartphone, you will definitely want to use the Camera FV-5 as it comes with intervalometer (that automatically takes photos for the interval you set). There are apps that make timelapse videos for you but the quality you get out of them will be nowhere near doing it this way by taking our photos then post-process them with desktop software Adobe Effects. And if your Android smartphone supports RAW images (like LG G4, OnePlus One, Nexus 5/6), you will have more control over your images in your final edit, even remove noise from low-light shots.
For those of you who have bought a new smartphone or own one with RAW image capabilities (LG G4, Galaxy S6 with Android 5.1.1, Nexus 5/6), you may want to know that you can do much more with RAW images then standard JPEG (JPG) image files. So, what is the difference between RAW and JPEG?
