Google Pixel 3XL Unboxing! [HighOnAndroid]

Google Pixel 3XL Unboxing! This is the official HighOnAndroid unboxing of Google’s latest Pixel 3XL. Should you get it? I think the price is a bit high but you do get the latest Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, official IP68 rating, wireless charging, and an extra wide-angle front camera. For Pixel 2XL users, this may not be worth the upgrade but for everyone else, this is definitely the best Google phone your money can buy.

Pixel 2 vs. Pixel 3 Camera Comparison! – SAME Camera Performance?

How good is the new Pixel 3 camera? Well, I just did a comparison between a Pixel 2 vs. Pixel 3 cameras and the results are very interesting. It seems that most of the improvements on Pixel 3 back camera is from better software processing but I do not see much difference in the camera sensor/lens. Eventually, you should be able to get all new Pixel 3 camera features on your Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 with a modded APK.

BeastGrip Smartphone Rig Unboxing!

Today, we do unboxing of BeastGrip Smartphone Rig, which is a smartphone rig that has a nice beasty grip along with a bunch of attachment holes, tripod mount, and also macro/close-up lenses.  While there are numerous similar products on the market, BeastGrip seems to be one you want for professional-grade smartphone rig.  It also comes with standard 37mm lens mount that you can mount any 37mm filters or you can also get a 37-52mm step-up ring and use your 52mm filters such as ND filters.  If you are looking to take your smartphone photography or videography to the next level, definitely you will want a good, sturdy smartphone rig, and that’s exactly why I bought one, to take my smartphone videos to the next level.

Galaxy Note 9 Camera 4K Cinematic Camera Test!

Here’s a quick Galaxy Note 9 4K cinematic camera test! It seems like the Galaxy Note 9 like to overexpose but other than that, seems like pretty good cameras especially the telephoto camera seems sharper and better images than the LG V40.  As far as exposure, I feel like the LG V40 does a TON better in auto mode.  Also, the controls for manual mode(Pro mode) on the Galaxy Note 9 is hard to use as the dials are a bit finicky.  At times, I have to really try to register my fingers correctly or the dials just simply don’t work and another reason I just don’t use manual controls on the Galaxy Note 9.  I used auto mostly which works quite fine but like I said, I had to manually adjust the exposure down to get the proper exposure.

LG V40 vs LG G7 vs LG V30 vs Note 9 Which Has the Loudest Sound?

LG V40 vs LG G7 vs LG V30 vs Note 9 Which Has the Loudest Sound?

In today’s test, we take the LG V40 and LG G7’s Boombox sound against the LG V30 and the Galaxy Note 9 to see which has the loudest sound. Also, use headphones or desktop speakers to listen to the difference in bass. The LG V40/G7 have VERY awesome bass when placed on top of a big box. But Note 9 has much better stereo sound if you are more acoustic type but bass heads will appreciate LG V40 or G7 more.

For those of you who want to get some of the Pixel 3 camera features, you can get it now already for those of you with a Google Pixel, Pixel 2, Nexus 6P Android smartphones. (And may work on other devices running Android 9.0 Pie but I am still testing.)  The Pixel 3 Google Camera APK has been floating on the internet since the launch of Pixel 3 this morning and this is straight off the Pixel 3 smartphone.  Luckily, it is 100% compatible with original Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL smartphones.  And no, no root is required to install, you just need to have Android 9.0 Pie running on your Pixel smartphone.

How to Shoot Stars w/ Android Smartphone! [Astrophotography]

In today’s tutorial, I will be showing you how to shoot stars with an Android smartphone.   For this to work, you will need an Android smartphone with shutter speed of 20 to 30 seconds.  I do highly recommend the latest LG V40 or Huawei P20 Pro, both which can do up to 30 seconds.  All LG smartphones also can do this such as LG G7, LG V30, LG V20, and LG G6 and I think most Huawei phones can do it also.  Just avoid Samsung for star photography as Samsung Galaxy smartphones are not recommended as maximum shutter speed is only 10 seconds(you will be able to get some stars but not enough). I will be using the LG V40 for this tutorial.
