Well for those of you pondering what these watches are like, let me give you the low down on specs for those of you tech noobs. The LG G watch features 280×280 pixel LCD IPS screen and 400mAh battery while Gear Live feature 320×320 piexl Super AMOLED screen. To the naked eye, both screens look fairly decent. Gear live is obviously slightly more clearer but I don’t really see any advantages as the pixel difference is not to huge.
Battery life?Yes! I’ve been waiting for LG G3 for quite awhile now since last year even before LG announced it and finally it arrived!
I know many of you requested me to show you how to install APK files to your Galaxy Gear using ADB and this will allow you to install any regular Android apps onto your Galaxy Gear.
For those of you who can’t wait for Galaxy S4, you can already get some Galaxy S4 features like the S Translator app on your rooted Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note 2.
Every year, Samsung releases the Galaxy Note series about 6 months after the S series. For example, the Galaxy S10 was launched in March earlier this year and the new Galaxy Note 10 will be available at end of August. This timing “gap” allows means you are getting much of the same but paying a lot more.
For those of you who want to convert your Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, or Galaxy S9+ into a Google Pixel 3, you can now do it by installing the Pixel Experience ROM. Now, you WILL need an Exynos model, if you have any Snapdragon models(U.S. models like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, or Verizon), you won’t be able to install this ROM as they have locked bootloaders.(For future reference, please don’t buy Snapdragon models if you want cool mods like this.)
The Pocophone F1 is without a doubt the best value on an Android smartphone with the latest Snapdragon 845 processor, retailing at just $300 USD. There are even reports that Xiaomi is selling this smartphone at a loss. In this review, I am going to cover the good and the bad about the Pocophone F1.
What’s good with the Pocophone F1?
Here’s a quick 4K timelapse I made with the LG V40 Camera in manual mode to do long exposure(ISO 200, Shutterspeed 20 sec) to capture stars in my backyard.
For those of you who want to get Galaxy S9 ROM on your Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus, I do highly recommend using the Alexis ROM, which is a “full port” of a real Galaxy S9 Plus. What is a full port? Basically, all of the software has been slightly modified to work on older devices like Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus. And best of all this ROM works on both Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus. Of course, you WILL need an exyno-based Galaxy S8/S8 Plus with an unlocked bootloader. No, it will NOT WORK on any Snapdragon models such as all U.S. models(sorry, Samsung blocked it on purpose I have no idea why).
