Android 5.0 Lollipop is finally here! This is the “official” Lollipop released by Google and it is now available for all Nexus devices as a flashable ROM.
Although I was not planning to get a Galaxy Note Edge because I felt like the edge screen wasn’t such a big deal, I ended up getting one during my visit to South Korea and really falling in love with the device. The Galaxy Note Edge is a slightly-modified version of the Galaxy Note 4, which comes with an edge screen that allows you to access your app shortcuts, put news/stock tickers, use it as ruler/voice recorder, and even some more. If you set your nighttime hours, the Note Edge will even act as a clock.
Recently, I’ve setup a new security camera liveview system with TinyCam Pro app and my Korean Note 2 (which I don’t use) by my front door. Ever since I moved to my new house couple years back, I have been working on my own DIY IP security camera project to make my house more secure and also so I can watch my house when I am traveling. I know many of you probably have Android devices that are collecting dust somewhere in your garage and this is a great way to put your older Android devices into new uses.
