In our latest underwater test, we took the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 through various underwater tests including unlocking phone, using IRIS underwater, browsing the web, typing underwater, watching YouTube videos under water, playing games, recording videos underwater, taking selfies underwater, and using different apps underwater. The result was pretty amazing.
It’s always fun to make some 4K cinematic videos with new smartphones and today I decided to make one in Thailand since the scene is so different. What I realized by making this video with the LG G5 is that there are some wide-angle shots you can really get creative with.
In this test, we freeze the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in a Samsung fridge for 3 hours and also try to see if freezing makes our phone perform better using Antutu benchmark app.
In this EXTREME benchmark test, we put the Galaxy S7 Edge under water with LOTS of ICE to lower its CPU temperature and maximize performance.
In this EXTREME benchmark test, we take up the Samsung Galaxy S7(Exynos) vs. LG G5 vs. S7 Edge(Qualcomm) running the Antutu benchmark multiple times to see which one can outperform in extreme stress/heat to the phone.
Here’s Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge 4K cinematic video test, this was shot at the Fine Palace of Arts in San Francisco. I used both Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to record this video but both S7 and S7 Edge has identical cameras. (This whole video was recorded using the S7 & S7 Edge!)
In this video, we test the Galaxy S7’s waterproof IP68 rating vs. LG Washing Machine for a full cycle of 45 minutes in water. Will the Galaxy S7 survive the beating? FYI, I almost had a heart attack making this video so please thumbs up thx!
I’ve always wanted to push the limits of smartphone cameras and how we test them. In this episode, we take a Phantom 2 drone quadcopter and the Galaxy Note 5 to test out the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) of the Note 5’s 4K camera.
Here’s 4K video camera test using my Xperia Z5 Premium w/ SteadyShot on which is basically software stabilization. All of the shots in this video were hand held except the driving shots which was mounted on my Delkin car mount.
