How to Get FAST Fingerprint Sensor w/ $9 Tempered Glass on Galaxy Note 10/S10 Series!

In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to get FAST fingerprint sensor with a $9 tempered glass on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 or S10 series(Galaxy Note 10/Note 10 Plus/S10/S10 Plus).  If you don’t use this method, you will get a very slow fingerprint sensor or your your fingerprint sensor will be REALLY SLOW.   You don’t need to spend $50 on expensive WhiteStone Dome Glass, you just need to be smart and know how to cure the tempered glass with a thinner layer near the fingerprint sensor.  Follow this method and you will have a fingerprint sensor that works just as fast as when you first got your new smartphone.

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1. Grab the correct $9 tempered glass on eBay here(this is the exact one I used in my tutorial.

Step 2. Use the alcohol wipes to clean your screen.

Step 3. Use the stickers provided to cover your earpiece and bottom of the phone.

Step 4. Use the dry wipe to wipe off any excess alcohol.

Step 5. Use the dust remover sticker to remove any tiny pieces of dust.

Step 6. Do a dry-fit and make sure your tempered glass fits your phone perfectly.

Step 7. Unscrew the UV loca glue bottle and drop it to the center of screen in one go.  Make sure there are no bubbles.  If you see any bubbles, use a piece of paper to pop them.

Step 8. Align the bubble exactly in the middle of your screen.

Step 9. Take the film off of the tempered glass, touch one of the sides to the screen and slowly lower the other side.

Step 10. If you don’t see any bubbles, let go of the tempered glass.  But if you see bubble like I did, take it off immediately.

Pop the bubbles.

Try again and second time usually will work well since you have some loca glue on the tempered glass.

Wait until all the UV loca glue spreads.  If some of it seeps out, simply wipe off the excess with the dry wipe.

Step 11. Cut a piece of the tempered glass box and make a rectangle that will cover bottom half of the screen.  Do not make the rectangle too small but make sure there’s room for the edges to cure.

Step 12. Place your rectangular piece carefully like shown above.

Step 13. Apply UV light about a minute all over the phone.

Step 14. Once the top half and edges of bottom have cured, your tempered glass should not move.  The bottom half still isn’t cured but we are going to apply good amount of pressure to the in-display fingerprint sensor.  While holding down the fingerprint sensor pretty hard, cure your screen with a UV lamp on the other hand for about 30 seconds.

Step 15. Also cure the other side for 30 seconds.

Step 16. Now, cure the bottom half without your fingerprint sensor pressed down.

Step 17. When done, test out your fingerprint sensor, it should work now just as fast as it did without the tempered glass.  If it doesn’t work fast, you did something wrong, try repeating all the steps in the tutorial.  I do recommend getting 2 kits in case you mess up.

Step 18. Put your whole phone in full sunlight for additional 5 minutes as that will cure your UV loca glue 100%.

Enjoy!  Your Galaxy Note 10/Note 10 Plus/S10/S10 Plus now should have full screen protection with a FAST fingerprint sensor!  Better than WhiteStone Dome Glass, better than any other tempered glass for just $9!
