Pixel 2 vs. Note 8 vs. LG V30 4K Low-Light/Stability Camera Comparison!

In this camera comparison, we compare the Google Pixel 2 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs. LG V30 in a low-light and see which one performs best in 4K video recordings including stability tests.

Overall, I feel all three phones did pretty well.  Both Pixel 2 and Note 8 have OIS(optical image stabilization) and EIS(electronic image stabilization), which worked out well for most shots except the walking test where a lot of jello effect was seen.   The Pixel 2 has a tendency to bring up the exposure too much(probably with high ISO) and a lot of noise also follow it.  You can fix this by bringing the exposure down manually but I felt like in auto mode, the Pixel 2 should have done it automatically since Note 8 and V30 did just fine.  LG V30 seemed to suffer from a lot of shake although it has OIS, which works wonderful in daylight, seems to have more trouble in low-light shots.

As for image quality, I felt the image quality was the best on Galaxy Note 8 followed by LG V30 and Pixel 2.  Of course, these results may be a lot more different during daylight shots but I really wanted to take these phones to its limits and see what it can do in near-dark situations.

What do you think?  Which was your favorite 4K camera in low-light and why?  Leave your thoughts below, thanks!
