Galaxy S4 Active EXTREME Pool Test!

In this episode of HighOnAndroid Show, we take the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active to an “extreme” underwater pool test.

First, we do a test of the S4 Active around 2-3 feet under water, which is its waterproof rating (anything under 1M or 3 feet) and test out some of the 1080P video footage and audio. It worked out quite well, the underwater videos are crisp and clear while you can still hear some audio under water.

Second, we do a dive test where we take the S4 Active from the around 3 feet under water to 8 feet under water. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND you exceed the IP67 rating of Galaxy S4 Active, which is only for up to 1 meter or around 3 feet. We are only showing you an “extreme” test under extreme conditions, taking the S4 Active to its limits, seeing what the phone can do.

Overall, the Galaxy S4 Active lived through the tests, satisfying our cravings to take videos under water.

Of course, you can try this too but just in case something goes wrong, don’t forget to get insurance from your carrier before taking it to the limit!
