So, I own around 200 Android smartphones, have grown from smartphones with Gorilla Glass 1 all the way to the latest Gorilla Glass 6 and have never broken a screen when dropped onto flat surface. On my 3rd day of using my brand, new Google Pixel 3A XL with a case(that Google sent me), I dropped it while taking out of my pocket but thankfully it was only a 1-foot drop as I caught it sort of in mid air and didn’t catch it. Upon picking it up, I notice two cracks that appeared. Since I dropped it on a flat surface with the case on, the case’s lip actually prevented the screen from touching the ground. So it got me wondering, how did it break?
Google has finally launched their budget Pixel device, the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL. For those of you who want the awesome camera of regular Pixel 3 but don’t need the higher resolution display or the faster processor, you may want to consider this lower-spec Pixel 3a/3a XL. Here’s me unboxing the Pixel 3a XL, thank you Google for sending me one!
In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to unroot/unbrick a Samsung Galaxy S10, S10e, S10 Plus, or the A50 easily using ODIN and stock firmware. You will need a Windows computer, any Windows computer will do or also you can run Windows using virtual machine software like VMWare but I do recommend simply borrowing your friend’s Windows laptop, I am sure one of your friends have one.
For those of you who want to root the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10e, S10 Plus, or the A50, here’s a full step-by-step tutorial along with video tutorial so you can root it easily. Before beginning, this root method only works for Exynos models.
Here’s the final retail LG G8 unboxing! HUGE THANKS TO LG for sending me a review unit. I should have a full review REAL SOON, I’ve had this for a week now and everything is excellent but I do feel front camera is a bit lacking this year compared to Samsung. I should have full camera comparisons, been taking hundreds of photos with it.
For those of you who want to install Pixel 3 Google HDR Camera on your Galaxy S10, you are in luck as it is now available for all Galaxy S10 series including Galaxy S10 Plus, S10E, and regular S10. Now, Night Sight only works on Qualcomm models so if you have Exynos international model, you will have to wait a bit longer.
In this test, we take the Galaxy S10 to see how it fares with the ocean waves in 4K. Ocean waves are particularly hard on video cameras as the waves literally force every pixel to move in the shot. Also, I actually took the shots in HDR10 then brought back the flat footage so you can view it on non-HDR devices. The HDR10 is really more like LOG footage that captures more dynamic range and you may be able to use it to capture brighter brights and darker darks. Of course, this does require you to use a color grading software like Davinci Resolve to bring the levels back but definitely seems to work well for capturing more dynamic range.
