How to Install APK Files to Galaxy Gear! [Win/Mac/Linux]

I know many of you requested me to show you how to install APK files to your Galaxy Gear using ADB and this will allow you to install any regular Android apps onto your Galaxy Gear.

Now, not all Android apps work out of the box on the Galaxy Gear but you will find many do work including Nova launcher, which can give you a fresh, vanilla Android UI over Galaxy Gear’s watch UI.

Gear VR for Galaxy S6/S6 Edge Unboxing!

Want the best virtual reality headset for your Android smartphone?  Well, if you own a Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, you can grab Samsung’s latest Gear VR Innovator Edition for S6, which work for both S6 or S6 Edge.

Note: The actual experience on the Gear VR gives you full 3D experience that’s very smooth, I used a screen recording app in my video which doesn’t record at full frame-rate and you are only seeing half of the screen.  But you get the idea, just imagine the video I showed you with 3D experience and smoothness.

Pixel XL vs. Galaxy S7 Edge! [Specs War]

Here’s a quick run down of specs comparison between the new Google Pixel XL smartphone vs. Galaxy S7 Edge.

First, they both have 5.5-inch AMOLED screens with identical 534 PPI.

Second, Pixel XL has a F2.0 12.3MP 1.55 microns while S7 Edge has vs. F1.7 12MP 1.4 microns back camera.  Performance should be nearly same and Pixel XL may excel more at low-light due to its larger sensor and HDR+ technology.

Gear VR for S6/S6 Edge Review!

This is an updated review for the Gear VR on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. (See our original Gear VR Review here)

Samsung has updated the Gear VR, now it works for both Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.  Before the Gear VR only worked for Note 4 but not the Note Edge, which was particularly annoying since you had to make a choice between a curved display or a flat one with VR capabilities.  If you own a Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge though, this year you are both able to take full advantage of the new Gear VR for the Galaxy S6 as they both work flawless out of the box.

Galaxy Note 4 vs. LG G4! – What Are the Differences?

If you are on the fence about buying a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or the LG G4, let me shed a bit of light to help you decide.  Without a doubt, both Galaxy Note 4 and LG G4 are the top 2 best phablets on the market today.

Probably the biggest difference between Galaxy Note 4 and the LG G4 is the S-Pen stylus and pressure-sensitive screen.  The Note 4 is the fourth iteration of world’s first phablet-type of device and its S-pen can do lots of things like draw, access full-sized websites more accurate, and allow you to use your phone all without your hands.  Of course, this is a unique feature only found with Galaxy Note 4 (other copycats have something like S-Pen but no pressure sensitivity) and many artists can swear by their new found abilities of making art on the go.  On the other hand, the LG G4 lacks this very feature that makes phablets cool to carry around.  But if you don’t need the S-Pen, the LG G4 is probably the next best alternative without the added weight.

Gear VR FULL Review!

Gear VR is a 3D virtual reality headset that allows you to experience a virtual reality like never before.  You will need to have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to use it.

What you have here is actually a full-3D device that you wear.  The only difference between a 3D TV and Virtual reality is that with virtual reality you can watch in 360 degrees, imagine having 100 3D TVs connected together and making a dome around yourself, that’s what VR 3D feels like.  3D TVs just have things popping out while with virtual reality, you are immersed in a virtual world where things seem almost real.

Gear VR Unboxing! – Note 4 Virtual Reality Glasses!

If there was one single reason to get a Galaxy Note 4 this year, it’s definitely this, the next Oculus Rift made by Samsung called “Gear VR”.

I’ve always been a fan of virtual reality stuff but I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollar on one.  Well, the Gear VR is only $199, probably the lowest starting point for virtual reality given that you already have a Galaxy Note 4 smartphone.

For those of you who can’t wait for Galaxy S4, you can already get some Galaxy S4 features like the S Translator app on your rooted Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note 2.
