For those of you with a rooted Android smartphone or tablet, you probably want to know that there’s an awesome audio app that’s free and you can install on any rooted Android device. This app is better than anything on the Play Store and it’s free.
Well, I just received two, brand new Galaxy Note 3s this morning via FedEx, one of them the international LTE SM-N9005 model with Qualcomm CPU and the other SM-N900 model with Octa-core CPU.
For those of you who’ve installed the latest Android 4.3 CyanogenMod 10.2 custom ROM on your Android smartphone and tablet, you may want to know that sometimes you have to enable root to make it work.
Custom ROM is a modified Android Operating System so you can get extra features from your phone otherwise not possible on stock. Think of it as upgrading your tiny wheels on your rice beater to 21” rims, or maybe even putting a Corvette engine in it.
So, what features can custom ROM bring you?Well, my HTC One finally arrived yesterday after an agonizing 2 week wait. But in the end, it was well worth the wait because I only paid $574 for an unlocked version directly from HTC.com. Of course, unlocked here means that the phone is “SIM” unlocked for using with any GSM network, the bootloader is still locked (but you can use HTCDev.com to unlock that).
For those of you wondering about the new AMOLED 1080P HD 1920×1080 screen on the new Samsung Galaxy S4 fairs among smartphones, you can check out some of the comparisons I did using my Dino Lite USB Digital Microscope (which does up to 230X zoom).
Unroot Android?
What does unrooting Android mean?
“Unroot” is term used for removing root on your rooted Android smartphone or tablet device.
For those of you wondering how to “unroot” any rooted Android smartphone or tablet, did you know that you can do that easily with 1-click using the SuperSU app?
Couple weeks ago when I was planning my trip to Thailand, I searched all over the internet and wondered if I was going to be able to get 3G data working (since Thailand doesn’t have 4G LTE yet) while I stayed for couple weeks.
