For those of you who want to get Google HDR+ camera on your Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus or any Android smartphone(should work on most), now you can do it using XDA user KisaKuKu’s port. While many other ports have not worked with latest Samsung S9/S9 Plus, this latest version works great and as you can see in the video, you can get nearly identical or better performance as Pixel 2 camera by using Google HDR+ camera. I have also tested on other devices like LG G6 and LG V20, both of which also work really well with this version of Google HDR+ camera and improves your photos by a mile.

For those of you who want to get Google Pixel 2’s portrait mode on your Galaxy phone(supports all Galaxy phones including Galaxy S9+, S9, Note 8, S8, S8 Plus, S7, S7 Edge, S6, S6 Edge, etc…etc… running Android 7.0 Nougat or 8.0 Oreo), you can now easily get it without having to buy the Pixel 2. While newer Samsung phones like S9+ and Note 8 have live focus feature, Google’s HDR camera does much better job with portrait mode allowing you to be also much closer to your subject. Best of all, you also get front portrait mode working, which I think is the coolest feature.
In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to convert any of your photos into HDR photo with Snapseed app. Now, this is not true HDR but using Snapseed, you can improve your photo and also give it HDR look, especially those you took in bad lighting conditions, this will make your worst photos usable again so you can post better photos on Instagram. First, download the Snapseed app, it is available for both Android and iOS.
Portrait mode is really awesome especially on my Pixel 2, which has a front portrait mode and the results are amazing as if shot with a DSLR camera. Well, even if you don’t have a Pixel 2, you can fake portrait mode on any smartphone using Snapseed(available for both Android and iOS).
Chromecast has been probably one of the most innovative devices that allows you to easily “cast” online videos such as YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc…etc… Now, one of the missing features of Chromecast is that it cannot by itself stream movies on your phone. Also, if you want to stream 4K movies, that’s even near impossible to do.
For those of you who may have took bad photos like all of us will do at some point in our life(or do it more often), here’s how to easily fix terrible, bad photos with blown-out highlights or too-dark scenes. If you have Galaxy Note 8, S8, or S8+ you can use the Photo Editor Pro which has load of options and customization just like Photoshop but better optimized for phones.
If you absolutely want to convert your Android smartphone into iPhone X, there’s an easy way using the XOutOf10 app for Android. With this app, you will no longer have ability to check all of your notifications nevermind checking how much battery percentage you have left. Best of all, you can even get the notch for your forehead which will fully convince your friends that you indeed have an iPhone X not Android. Now, we advise you use caution when using this conversion method as you may end up picking up a lot of girls. This app works on all Android smartphones so definitely give it a go and let us know if you are able to trick people into thinking you have iPhone X.
For those of you who want to take better photos with your Android smartphone, you can now use the full power of Google Camera HDR+ with a modded version of Google HDR+ Camera APK. Now, this modded version ONLY works on devices running Snapdragon 820, 821, and 835. That means you can use it on Samsung devices like Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S8, S8 Plus, Note 7, and Note 8 with Snapdragon processor. Exynos models are not supported yet. Also this Google HDR+ Camera APK works on stock and rooted phones, no root required! For LG, you should work on LG G5, G6, V20, and V30. If you have a phone you are not sure about, you can try googling its specs first. I’ve tested the APK on my Galaxy Note 8, LG V30, and V20, all of them work GREAT!So, the biggest question of the day, does it really improve your photos with Google HDR+ Camera?
