How to Install Verizon ROM on Sprint Galaxy S5/S4/S3 and Note 3!

For those of you with a Sprint Galaxy phone like the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, or the Note 3, did you know you can also enjoy more custom ROMs by installing Verizon custom ROMs?

We’ve always thought this process took a bit of coding and porting from Verizon ROMs to Sprint ROMs but in my recent findings show that you can actually get Verizon ROMs working on Sprint Galaxy phones fairly easily by adding APN and using 3rd-party SMS app to get MMS send working.

Wireless Charging Receiver For Galaxy Smartphones?

Today, we will be talking about Wireless Charging.

Many new phones like Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and the new Nexus 7 support wireless charging out of the box as it ships with a wireless charging module embedded.

For phones like Galaxy Note 3, Note 2, Galaxy S5, S4, and S3, you can also get the same capabilities by using Wiress Charging Receiver Module, which is a thin piece of film that will be able to convert electromagnetic fields into electricity into your battery, that all fits between your battery and your back cover.

Galaxy S4 DROP TEST with a Case!

You all probably seen many Galaxy S4 drop tests on YouTube and while they entertain you with completely broken screens, they do not show you anything. I know all of these guys are doing drop tests do generate millions of views but seriously does that show you ANYTHING?

If you drop any of latest smartphones without a case on cement ground enough times, it’s going to break the screen eventually.

After having the Galaxy S4 for over a week now and HTC One for just over a day, I do have to admit the HTC One has a “premium” build, specifically a uni-body aluminum casing that does give it more weight and solidarity.

However, I do think “feel” is completely different from “build”, and to me personally, I think the Galaxy S4 “feels” more comfortable to hold than the HTC One due to its smooth edges.  In general, I do believe phones with rounded edges are more comfortable to hold than with sharp edges.

Galaxy S4 Wireless Remote Viewfinder!

Another feature on the Galaxy S4 I found very useful is the Remote Viewfinder feature.

This feature allows you to use another Galaxy S4 as a “wireless” remote viewfinder for your Galaxy S4 or vice versa. Also you can use this feature with compatible Samsung products like Galaxy Camera. And I am sure this feature will be added to Galaxy S3 and Note 2 on the next software update.
