LG G6 Underwater Snorkeling Test!

Here’s an underwater snorkeling test with the LG G6. Yes IP68 rating is good enough to snorkel with it in sea salt water, just keep your phone no more than 5 feet underwater and you should be fine. Also rinse your phone off with fresh water after as salt left on the phone can make your seals degrade if you leave it. This isn’t my first time snorkeling with a waterproof phone, I used Galaxy S5 a few years back in Thailand, the phone still works even years later and still waterproof, you can check it out here.

My first time seeing a sea turtle(I named him Sam)!!! I will try to see if I can make some more underwater videos with my other phones.

Today I tested with the Galaxy S9+, LG G6, Pixel 2 XL and they all work great in sea salt water. My S9+ died though because I took it much deeper(10ft), hopefully it might come back alive.

All shots were taken in Pro mode in 4K 24fps and no color grading done at all, the footage was taken straight from the phone.  Footage is a bit shaky because I don’t have proper stabilization. But I am working on a DIY stabilization rig.  I should have a full update on that soon.
