Check out Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus cases from Spigen. These are the latest cases for the Samsung flagship and depending on your needs, one of them could suit you. I find the clear cases much more stickier and less prone to dropping while the smooth-surfaced cases have very soft feel, very therapeutic. For those of you who want to get Galaxy S9 ROM on your Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus, I do highly recommend using the Alexis ROM, which is a “full port” of a real Galaxy S9 Plus. What is a full port? Basically, all of the software has been slightly modified to work on older devices like Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus. And best of all this ROM works on both Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus. Of course, you WILL need an exyno-based Galaxy S8/S8 Plus with an unlocked bootloader. No, it will NOT WORK on any Snapdragon models such as all U.S. models(sorry, Samsung blocked it on purpose I have no idea why).
Thanks to XDA developer TopJohnWu, he has released Magisk V16.1 which now is fully-compatible with the latest Android P(9.0) so you can easily root your Pixel phones on latest Android P Preview and should work fine when official Android P comes out.
For those of you who want to get Google Pixel 2’s portrait mode on your Galaxy phone(supports all Galaxy phones including Galaxy S9+, S9, Note 8, S8, S8 Plus, S7, S7 Edge, S6, S6 Edge, etc…etc… running Android 7.0 Nougat or 8.0 Oreo), you can now easily get it without having to buy the Pixel 2. While newer Samsung phones like S9+ and Note 8 have live focus feature, Google’s HDR camera does much better job with portrait mode allowing you to be also much closer to your subject. Best of all, you also get front portrait mode working, which I think is the coolest feature.

Over the weekend, I upgraded my mom’s sprinkler controller to the Orbit B-Hyve and now her sprinklers can be controlled from anywhere in the world there is internet. If you have ordered your Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus, you may want to consider getting cases BEFORE you get your phone and save a bunch of money by buying them online (as you will end up paying twice more at a retail store).
