Well, I decided to do a drop test with my brand, new Galaxy Note 3, since I had to break the screen anyways to do a future screen replacement video.
Well, I just received two, brand new Galaxy Note 3s this morning via FedEx, one of them the international LTE SM-N9005 model with Qualcomm CPU and the other SM-N900 model with Octa-core CPU.
Honestly I find smartphones with large screens more appealing than smaller ones due to the fact that they usually also come with a bigger battery and easier to type. (My current daily driver is Note 2 although I own S4, HTC One, S3, S2, etc…etc…)
In this episode of HighOnAndroid Show, we take the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active to an “extreme” underwater pool test.
For those of you who are thinking about getting a more rugged and water-proof smartphone for either taking photos/videos while swimming or for industrial work, Galaxy S4 Active is certainly a great choice as it’s rated for IP67, a bit higher than Xperia Z (which has IP57).
You all probably seen many Galaxy S4 drop tests on YouTube and while they entertain you with completely broken screens, they do not show you anything. I know all of these guys are doing drop tests do generate millions of views but seriously does that show you ANYTHING?
After having the Galaxy S4 for over a week now and HTC One for just over a day, I do have to admit the HTC One has a “premium” build, specifically a uni-body aluminum casing that does give it more weight and solidarity.
Well, my HTC One finally arrived yesterday after an agonizing 2 week wait. But in the end, it was well worth the wait because I only paid $574 for an unlocked version directly from HTC.com. Of course, unlocked here means that the phone is “SIM” unlocked for using with any GSM network, the bootloader is still locked (but you can use HTCDev.com to unlock that).
Should you Buy the Note 2 or the S4?
So, you’ve decided to sell your Note 2 and get the S4 or can’t decide between the two?
