Galaxy S9 vs. LG G7 vs. Pixel 2 vs. OnePlus 6 vs. Mi 8 [Portrait Selfie Camera Comparison]

In this camera comparison, we compare the portrait mode of the front camera of Samsung Galaxy S9 vs. LG G7 vs. Pixel 2 vs. OnePlus 6 vs. Xiaomi Mi 8.  For this test, we are comparing which phone does the best in terms of mirroring a real DSLR, specifically looking for the camera with better subject separation from the background, background blurring, and also image quality.  Now, this test was done on a pretty bright but cloudy day in good lighting conditions.  In low-light conditions, the results may differ vastly as the more expensive phones have better low-light performance.  We will do another comparison for low-light but this comparison is for those of you who take lots of selfies in good lighting conditions.

Xiaomi Launches Pocophone F1 $300 Phone w/ Snapdragon 845!

Today, Xiaomi launches Pocophone F1, an Android smartphone with latest Snapdragon 845 processor that starts at just $300 USD.   Expected to release on August 29th next week, the Pocophone F1 gives you performance of a flagship phone at 1/3 the cost!  Pocophone F1 has 2 rear cameras, a 12MP F1.9 and 5MP F2.0 depth sensor along with a 20MB F2.0 front camera.  Interestingly Xiaomi has cut down on the cost of its screen by utilizing the older Gorilla Glass 3, which I think is actually great idea if it can cut down on price.   It does feature an 18.7:9 ratio 1080×2246 pixel IPS LCD screen, which may be the ultimate deciding factor for some of you who want a good screen.  Pocophone F1 also has a whopping 4,000mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0, which should prove great for those who need all-day battery life.  The back is covered by cheap, polycarbonate material, cutting down the prices further.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Unboxing!

I recently ordered Xiaomi Mi 8 due to the affordability of this Android smartphone as the official price is $421, which is even cheaper than OnePlus 6 by a full $100.  Now, this is probably the cheapest smartphone you can buy that has the latest Snapdragon 845 processor.   While manufacturers like Samsung are raising their prices steadily every year, it seemed to me that perhaps cheaper alternatives like the Mi 8 could be very good.

How to OTA Update Rooted Pixel Phones Without Computer!

In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to apply OTA(Over-The-Air) update on rooted Pixel Phones(such as Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, and Pixel 3 XL) without a computer by using Google’s very own OTA files, which you can actually flash with TWRP recovery.  You can also keep root and TWRP after doing the OTA by simply flashing Magisk again and TWRP again.  And you can do this ALL without a computer, which makes it simple and you can do it from anywhere in the world.

Why Rooted Android Smartphones are Actually More Secure!

Today I am going to talk about why rooted Android smartphones are actually more secure, there is a misconception going around where people think a rooted phone is less secure.  Well, as a person who has rooted almost every phone he has owned, and I have personally bought about a hundred Android smartphones since 2011, I have NEVER been hacked with a rooted smartphone.

How to Run Fortnite on ANY Rooted Android!

This tutorial, I am going to show you how to run Fortnite on ANY rooted Android device! While there have been many attempts to run Fornite on a rooted Android device, none of them actually work at the moment(as of 3:36PM August 10th 2018) but after reverse-engineering the Fornite app, I was able to figure out how to run Fornite on ANY rooted Android device.  Now, if you change your device ID using build prop editor, you will be able to download the Fornite game from the Fornite Installer app.  And you will be able to run the app and start the game.  The problem is that Fornite will STILL detect root when you jump off the bus!   Well, the last part took me about 10 hours to figure out and I almost gave up but here’s the full solution you can follow step-by-step.
